Food Log.
Tuesday, October 02, 2012We passed by 'SAVEUR' one day and decided to eat there since we have been planning to go there for sometime but didn't have the time to plan a date there. Just nice, we went there 15mins to opening time and so *tada*, dinner is decided!
This was the appetizer: Spaghetti with mini prawns! It was nice and under $5! But of course the portion is not big either. But it's just enough for an appetizer =)
Then, we tried this high class foie gras. It is really expensive!! Eat already only enough to fill the gaps within my teeth (0.o). It was really nice, but trying once will be enough heh heh
Woots~ This is the famous duck drumstick. BIG AND JUICY. Super worth it and if I rmb correctly, it cost about the same as the foie gras.
This is my dish: poached egg with 3 layered pork meat. It was yummy! but abit small piece ya...you can also use the (normal) egg size to estimate the meat size...
And this is mee with my dish before it disappear like 5s later!
wahaha, this is a on-the-spot sketch of him using a super cool board that appears like e-book:
It has been awhile since i ate this bread-pot! I still miss the stall at bugis which sells this bread bowl and western food. It was much cheaper and taste much better * reminiscent*
Okay, so we actually wanted to go boon keng to try out a popular bak kut teh, but so qiao the coffeeshop had closed for the day. So instead, we went to have chicken rice from another stall called....
The yummy fried toufus we ordered. I like them loads!
The inside decor. Not much but good enough to have a good meal!
That's it for the Food Log for now, and till then~
*tata*
