Life in a week.

Recently, my cousin just got married and I attended the wedding tea ceremony, church wedding session (my first!) & the dinner. It was really a busy day as we were moving from places to places, doing this and that, but I rather enjoyed it. The wedding was quite grand because the food & gifts provided were more towards the atas kind and the cakes look very well-made too! A little birdie told me that the bride did not scrimp on this big day of hers and wanted to make it her dream wedding. Well, I think it came through and she won't forget this day anytime soon. Here's wishing her a blissful marriage and a pic for memory =)
With free time on our hands, we decided to give cookie making a try. Heh heh. Not say I never bake before, but usually, I will bake with someone that guides me. This time, I was the chief baker and its quite the pressure on me butt *tada*, I think we manage to bake some decent cookies ya see..haha, ok well, many thanks to my sous baker butt ya gotta give me some credit too =P
Here's how it came out after the sweat-filled-oven-watch-once-every-few-mins to ensure a non-chao ta batch of cookies:
Haha, really glad it turned out still edible enough although I think we over estimated the quantity & now we have to think of ways to clear them...lelong lelong, who wants tell me quick!

Annnnnnd, after such a long movie break, we (or I cause I'm the one that didn't watch movie for so long) finally went to watch the latest and cooliest animated movie in town. I think the movie is still nice and because I watched the first movie before this, everything about the movie was nostalgic to me. It was like a walk in the monsters' memory lane, all those cuties. Also, it felt quite close to heart now that I am coincidentally going to graduate from my uni soon too and one thing I took away from the movie was that their uni was so much nicer (in terms of building and ambiance, really got the uni feel man) than mine...hais I really can't wait to travel again *random*. Anyways, here a student pass that I made specially for us!
So this long hidden memory came back to me when I was writing this post and I remembered the time when harry potter just came out its first movie. Potter was entering Hogwarts at that time and because I was the same age as him and the stated age of first years to Hogwarts, I was silently hoping that I would receive an invitation to such a school too. And now that monsters university is showing, I am in my uni years too. So qiao horh...but the movie schools always look wayyyyyy cooler than mine (unfair). Okay back to topic, I dunno why we are so on butt, if you've noticed, we actually wore MU shirts to catch the movie! Muahaha ~ The experience was great! But we'll be broke if we were to do it for every movie so I guess this might be our first & last ;)
Then today, I brought my sisters to Poulet again for the delicious lamb shank. I ordered smth new - chicken sandwich - and it tasted alright. Lamb shank is still the ultimate champion for me but my sisters felt that it was ok-ok only. Ah well, different palette I guess...
See, let her have a few alone time with my phone to take a photo and this is what I get...*headaches*
Haha, I think since the lunch portion was rather small, all of us didn't have our fill & we went for desserts and my sister even continued to take away her BonChon cravings. She and the little one had quite a time eating the seconds and here's a collage to remember the never-ever-stay-still-while-eating niece of mine =)
Okay, so shall end off with a home-made quote for this post:
