A collection of commen cement speeches ;)

I was having some free time at hand and a colleague recommended me to watch some commencement videos (because I was gonna have my commencement ceremony soon), and so I started with J.K.Rowling. From there, one came after the other and all was so inspirational, and quotational that I didn't know which one I should get quotes from. I decided : to dedicate this post for the commencement speeches that I found were pretty good, and pick one for each year up till this. I've picked out a few that I liked (too many alr!):
2013
"Learn from every mistake"
"When you learn, teach. When you get, give." - Maya Angelou
2012
I liked his character in the game of thrones!
2011
"Boredom seems to have been vanquished. But hasn't this translated into a perpetual distraction in our lives?"
"Stand in the fulcrum between fear & faith. Fear at your back, and faith in front of you. Which way will you lean?"
2010
"and one of my favorites is from a kid who wants to know if I live next to a volcano, I'm still trying to piece the thought process on this one"
2009
2008
2007
His speech is full of selflessness and giving-back to the less privileged. If only everyone would not be so full of themselves, the world would be a much better place.
2006
Short & sweet. haha~
2005
And so, my actual commencement ceremony came recently and there, we also had a speaker and a valedictorian. Initially, I wasn't looking forward to the valedictorian speech because they would usually give a very chim speech (and it'll last quite long too, they can talk very well you see). But for my session, we got a 50+ years old guy, father of 3, who graduated with B.Tech with honours, and he could slowly capture the attention with his interesting speech, an alternative speech - a father's perspective, a non-first class awardee, a guy who achieved his dreams in spite of his age. But I don't have his speech here, wonder if the school will upload it then maybe I'll add it in here =) That's all for now, await for my graduation photos soon!
"You're going to fall down. But the world doesn't care how many times you fall down, as long as it's one fewer than the number of times you get back up" - Aaron Sorkin
