Yesterday was my "last day" of work, and today is the first day of my "holiday"! Whee~ =) It's quite a tough decision because there are a lot of factors involved, but I guess it's better to make a decision and make a change instead of complain and yet do nothing about it. It's a small change and some might say quite an impractical one, but it's still a small step nonetheless. The bittersweet feeling, bitter because I realise I'm gonna leave the rare few friends at the workplace and of course I'll be living on null income, but sweet because I am finally free to think and do the things that mattered more to me. Jobs are important because they provide a source of income and sometimes a bit of fulfilment, but when it sucks you dry of energy and happiness to live a fruitful life outside of your job, it's pretty much a signal that it's time to leave.
