Okay, so here's another backdated post on : FOOD!
We have been eating around and about, trying new stuffs and going back to the old turfs, and here's a collection of what food adventure we've been through lately =)

-----It's MOO MOO time!-----
Okay, he found this stall selling the same thai bbq which we had been planning to eat for some time, just  that it's cooked in a different way. This place has quite good reviews too, and so we gave it a try. I think it's a really a nice experience as the food comes quite fast and for the cooked food, they're still hot/warm too. The waiter was very hospitable and nice too, he went the extra mile to put fans in case the customers feels too stuffy. Although the food is not cooked the traditional charcoal way, the service itself will definitely make me want to come back here when I crave for a thai bbq. Just look at the food we ordered, heh heh heh~
And the name says it all...
Maximizing the utility of the bbq set...

-----I went to a pub!-----
Okay, more like "pub" because it's not the drinking kind of place, more like an adaptation of it. The ambiance makes its quite homely and feels like we're overseas (although I have nv gone to an overseas pub before). Overall, the food was quite surprising and nice. It's quite ex too, with a set meal costing up to $60+. But they had the one-for-one offer and he bought the coupon, so just try lorh! haha =)
The appetizer : bread with special sauce which tasted quite nice
Ah! I like this : Salmon in a rose shape (the plate design is quite nice too)
The main thing : I like the potatoes best =P
Desserts time :  we ordered both choices cos' we didn't know which to take. But I like the crumble one better...

-----the small meal----
Haha, we went back here because we had the wanna-eat-but-don't-wanna-eat-too-much kind of feeling again, and because we didn't had to order full meals, this place will be a good place to satisfy our tummys. This time round, we tried the polo buns. They're quite nice, crispy outside and meaty inside. But the only thing I didn't really like was that it wasn't hot from the oven. They're meant more for the takaways, so mass produced and place at the display there we guess...it's a good try though.
Since we don't come here often, we decided to get the things we haven't ordered before. Hence, we ordered the fried thingys (shiet i forgot what are they), and the yew char kway wrapped in chee jiong fan skin. The fried one is nice. Wouldn't order the yew char kway thingy again though, not that it's not nice, but it feels weird eating it that way and we can get the nice yew char kway under a dollar at elsewhere too.
Double boiled chicken soup. Hmmm it's not bad butt..I prefer the crystal jade one better =X

-----one month liao-----
Yes, it's been one month already. Money has been exchanged. And what comes in, will go out. But this is a happy lost I guess, cos' I get to eat them good food too! Yummy!
-----a dish we almost couldn't have-----
For this dish, we traveled for 3 days, over 39 km and finally got to get a taste of it. It's quite an interesting meal, although for most of the time, my mouth was already numbed with hotness. Not really expensive, but it's really all the effort taken to travel to the place that makes this meal hard to get. Not sure if I like it though...but yes, I like laksa.

-----tei & sushi-----
Recently, I had some salmon craving. It's a really expensive craving when a piece can cost up to $1.90 and you need much much much moore than a single piece to satisfy your craving. So one thing led to another and we ended up at this sushi place again. Here, we sat teppanyaki-style beside the chefs preparing the meals. It's actually not too bad this way cause firstly, we get to skip a queue, secondly, we get the freshest meat cause they will prepare and serve us directly (save the time taken to wait for the waiters/waitresses to get the orders and walk to our table), and finally, it's my first time sitting this way (although its not the authentic teppanyaki meal but it's good enuf!). Quite awkward at first cause it's not only a one-way customer stare at chef, but a two way thing. But along the way, I learned that the way to go, is to stare at the sashimi meat instead.
And to satisfy the salmon crave, we ordered mostly salmon dishes. I was still craving for salmon after that though...the troubles of a person with big stomach =/

-----tang lai liao-----
Need smth to fill your stomach for awhile but don't wanna wait for too long? Soup is the way to go. I still like home-cooked soups better though...

-----furniture food-----
Guess where we ate? Yes, ikea of course. The meatballs meal : made up of countless meatballs with side dishes such as chicken wings, mushroom soup, ebi sandwich, broccoli & of course, sa-sa-salmon. I seriously need a salmon buffet. (x.x)

The End! That's all foods!
