My nephew's ONE....month old!

Yup! Something big happened today...it's my nephew's one month old celebration =)
Time really flies. I still remember looking forward to his arrival seeing my sister's big tummy and all. Then one fine day, this little boy popped out of his mama's belly. Everything happened really fast, and it's been already 4 weeks! I guess this mini celebration is not only for the little one, but also for the mom who had to stay indoors for the 4 loong weeks; in that way, it marks the regaining of freedom for her to go out and also to eat food that she wants ;P stay happy and healthy little nephew <3 p="">
Anyways, I had fun seeing my sis open the presents, and I think my niece had the most fun too...cause she just imagined (maybe she really believes) that the toys are hers haha...

-----&-----
We went to this place, kinda centralized but hidden, and tried out their burgers. It's really funny cause it was me who suggested this place, but in the end, it was him who knew more about this place then me. What is this right, chey! Okay, so we ordered 3 courses, one drink and two mains. The drink is really special because they freeze up the tea and serve them in cubes before pouring hot hot water over them. Taste wise, hmmm...not our cup of tea looo...
I ordered the salmon burger & he chose the B burger. The fries are the skinny ones which I don't really enjoy as much as the fat ones. And I chose the original flavour which is really plain, so there's no plus point there. But I had to say the salmon is nice.
Here's the other one...

-----The little fishes with a dollar osyters-----
We also tried a new restaurant at nex because they were having some osyter offer and he wanted to eat back the osyters he missed out on during his ippt gotta-restrain-from-over-eating period, and so we went for this deal. We ate a total of 12 osyters, not really our record but I felt that the osyters tasted weird (he said it was okay). As usual, the salmon dish stood out for me and I chose a char-grilled salmon which tasted really good. He took the yellowfish tuna which looked like steak and misled me on few occasions. But all in all, I still think salmon tasted best sashimi and non-sashimi wise. One interesting thing about this place is that they provide crayons to draw on the paper-covered table. I didn't really know about this concept until he gave me the crayon holder and asked me to doodle, and so I did (see photo below). It was something very basic and necessary at a seafood restaurant. What's more, I drew my missing spoon out too. But I have to say I don't really like the way the paper is placed. Because when it was time to leave, I almost got myself a paper cut trying to maneuver out of the tiny spaces between tables and between the table & my seat.
Then we walked out of the seafood place and into this dessert place. I don't like yogurt but I don't know why I like this version of "it". It really taste like ice cream to me but I'm not sure why it's advertised as the former. Anyways, I had the usuals with my fav rainbow toppings. Yummy!

-----the Maine thing-----
Went to watch a concert not too loong ago (yes actually it happened yesterday only =P) and I think the band was not bad. The opening band wasn't too bad either but I had no idea what words they were singing. The place wasn't super crowded (which was super good) and we stood at the end of the first tier so we wasn't squashed like mad. But there were like the tallest people in front of us sparsely situated which made the whole trying-to-catch-a-glimpse of the band quite tough. Haha, and I found myself jumping exceptionally high during the high points of the songs to try to see whats up in the front (I guess I grew like a few cm taller after the show too). The best of the concert was when the lead came down to mingle with the crowd and did some human wave thing. I think this cannot be experienced in huge scale concert and the personal touch is really a huge plus point. I really like the bracelet entry "tix" they gave too as it will be a good souvenir, better than the paper tickets concerts usually gives. In short, we had fun at the concert =)
