Scenes from here & there...

Many things happen on my way to school...for instance, people are getting up & ready to go to work, the weather is getting warmer (& sometimes wetter), and the best scene is unfolding over the skies. Yup, I guess alot of people travel by the MRTs which travel mostly via undergrpund (esp the line I travel in), so they won't notice how the skies shift over the time they enter the MRT gates till the time they exit it at their desinations. Luckily, I don't always travel underground. Sometimes, I get rides to work (wheee! =P) and I got to witness the very beautiful sun-rising process. It's so pretty they deserve some snapshots so here's my camera at work...
Even after looking at the picture for so many times, I still feel that it's a really nice scene. I think sun-rising and sun-setting has a very calming effect on the mind. Just taking some time off the daily routine to admire the whole process could really help one in destressing. At least that's what I think. Yup, and the other time, my family went to celebrate my sister's bday, and we went to somewhere near the Bird Park to have dinner, and I saw this, the sun-setting scene...
Where to find such pretty pictures in real life right? Here lorh, in Singapore. But you'll have to be at the right place at the right time I guess.
Okay, then this is a random picture. The other time we went to a resturant which looked like a mini Japanese market just beside the super nice Japanese bbq place, and tried their salmon and scrimps. The salmon tasted good, but I still like sushi tei's one better because they're much colder and temperature is one criteria that will make it or break it for me. The scrimps are really interesting because they kinda melted in our mouths, something like how ice creams melts in the mouth, but they're not ice cream. It's a dish to try, and try again ;)
Aha! This then is the real ice cream. This shop's ice cream an all time favourate for me (certain flavours only), and I like to put the rainbow toppings which is free flow for customers.
So over the weekends, we went to the zoo! We brought the little one along the excursion and I think she had a blast. It was a really tiring but fun day because me and my sis had to carry the many goodie bags and rush here and there, but it's always fun to see how kids react when they go to the zoo and see the variety of animals for the first time. I remebered during the younger days, my dad also brought us to the family day (which is also at the zoo), and we made friend's with his friend's daughter. In those days, they still had the spider web playground and we could climb up and down the tangled ropes. It was super fun then.
For now, there's still the water playground for kids which is really fun too. And I took this picture in which my niece is super cute! Haha! My sis was helping her to remove the pampers and she was still posing the thumbs up sign and oblivious to the kao-wei-ness of the removal. The playground must be super good!
And here's another shot of them running through the water tunnel. I think this is a very nice shot taken by *waves waves* \o/ Of course, what I won't say is the 99 other shots that 'could have' been taken at the time but not shown, which is of course not true...
And then we had our second helpings at the nearby KFC and b&j, where we witness something interesting. Well, all I can say is that we shouldn't do bad stuff cause we might never know who we will bump into around the corner, esp in Sgp cos it's sooo small. Anyways, it was a fun day at the zoo and I guess we'll be doing this again when the little boy grows older also. The end!

Okay now here's a very good alternative to saving money, heh heh heh.
